PLAYER SPOTLIGHT

Orianga started with us in 2009 on our first girls travel team, the Wolves. Oriagna, who grew up in a low-income, Spanish speaking household, is a recent high honor roll, Fryeburg Academy graduate. She also captained the soccer and track & field teams at Fryeburg. Today, she attends St. Anselm College and also spends her summer with us as a “Coach-Mentor,” leading and inspiring younger, Lawrence kids.

“Beyond Soccer has been my extended family. They have been with me every step of the way, even in high school, all the way up in Maine. They have helped me stay committed to my sports teams, school work and fitness. Entering my senior year of high school I wanted to stay active over the summer so I could have the best senior year possible. Some days I thought their speed and agility sessions would kill me, but looking back I am truly grateful for it. In fact, I had my most successful soccer season last fall, scoring 11 goals, the most ever during my four years.

Beyond Soccer is different because they never want to let you go. I’ve been a part of it since age 12. Going off to boarding school I thought I wouldn’t be as involved, but that was proven false. I’m more involved than ever. And I love it. Beyond Soccer continues to keep me busy, whether it’s training little kids, training myself, eating healthy with Lindsey, or working the summer camp the past 2 consecutive summer. I love the staff and all the great opportunities.”
