It’s a #HappySunday and there’s so much we could share… but we’ll keep it simple today.

Here’s a look at our first weekend soccer session outside, and it did not disappoint. If our high schoolers can get 22 players out to run two full squads, Chris gives the green light — and that’s exactly what happened. 🙌

These photos are from a great day that also included hours and hours of futsal at the YWCA. And we’re right back at it today at 1 PM.

#WeAreBackWednesday, and we didn’t waste much time

#WeAreBackWednesday, and we didn’t waste much time. We kicked things off on Monday, the very first day we could, and now we’re fully back at it!

Thanks to staffers Chris, Declan & Oriagna, plus our team of #coachmentors and Jr. coaches, every age group has a dedicated weekday technical “tekkers” session focused on foot skills, quick decisions, and thriving in small spaces. That’s a total of 15 weekday hours, plus full-day futsal sessions on Saturdays and Sundays at the YWCA. That starts this weekend!

As we close out the year, a group of ~12 Grade 4 players got some early Tekker time ... a practice run ahead of our weeknight Tekker sessions and weekend Futsal launching in January.

Soccer Director Chris is always about offering extra days of support, with the focus locked in on technical development—because skill level doesn’t matter when you’re building fundamentals.

We loved welcoming our friends from @salemfive and are incredibly grateful for their investment in our Leadership Pathways program.

Brian spent time with us at our Riverwalk enrichment space—learning about our current needs and the opportunities ahead.

We were also joined by Director Stephanie, Director of Soccer Development Chris, and Impact Coordinator Declan, who’s leading our first cohort of junior coaches as they build skills toward becoming employed #CoachMentors in 2026.

Coach Mentor Katherine organized a special holiday get-together for our Lioness Team, and it was full of joy from start to finish. Just like the Wolves’ get-together, this one was pajama-party themed... with a festive Christmas & Grinch twist 🎅🎄

🎤 Karaoke (yes… a few Frozen songs definitely made the list ❄️🎶 — those videos are staying safely in the team WhatsApp 😄)
🎲 Games and laughs
🔥 S’mores and hot chocolate to top it all off (and yes… we do have a s’more maker)

Huge thanks to the amazing parents who jumped in to help make the night extra special. And endless appreciation for Katherine, whose leadership and care create moments like these that go far beyond the field.

We just wrapped up our first season of #AcademicOvertime with our friends at Merrimack College — and the impact is already showing.

The feedback coming in from parents & tutors has been incredibly motivating. One parent shared that her son is “reading better now, and his math grades have improved.”

And yes… some students came early to dribble a soccer ball around, because learning works best when kids feel comfortable, confident, and connected.

It truly takes a team.

It’s #TeamworkTuesday! And honestly, this week’s Jr. Coach Leadership session couldn’t have shown it better. 🌲

Teamwork was the theme, and our youth ran with it. With support from older coach mentors and a few veteran leaders, the group broke into small teams and got to work:

✨ Digital crew: invitations, guest lists, and party prep for next week

🎨 Creative crew: decorations and all the visual magic

🤝 Everyone: practicing real leadership, communication, and collaboration

Big Week for Youth Leadership! 🙌

We just launched our Jr Coach Mentor Leadership Pathways program — the first tier of our new Pathways Beyond the Field initiative.

Led by Impact Coordinator Declan, a crew of motivated 14–15-year-olds (plus a few seasoned coach mentors) kicked things off with orientation. From now through February, they’ll dig into real coaching skills, build leadership confidence, learn #SBYD... and earn their first paycheck while giving back to their community.

Our friends at St. Vincent de Paul showed up BIG again, donating 26 full turkey meals for #BeyondSoccer families. The pickup turned into a full-on assembly line, with Soccer Director Chris assisting and loading up the Beyond truck. They even snagged a fun group shot that includes so many people who've made this special tradition possible, year after year.

Then, back in Lawrence, a few of our #CoachMentors jumped in to get everything ready for distribution.

Moments like this remind us what community really looks like...people stepping up, pitching in, and taking care of one another.

Feeling thankful for every partner, every helper, and every kid who learns that service is part of the game.

It’s a #FeelGoodFriday ✨

From the field to the classroom, this 4th grader has been putting in the work. Impact Coordinator Declan, who oversees #AcademicOvertime, stepped in for @MerrimackCollee tutor. He’s 📸’d here helping him work through a homework worksheet that included a little division but focused mostly on reading and problem-solving.

Declan shared, “He’s been showing up twice a week over the last 6 weeks, working hard to grow his skills — not only as a soccer player, but also as a student in the classroom. He’s seen obvious improvements.”

This is exactly what we love to celebrate… the effort, the consistency, and the team around our kids making sure they feel supported in every space.

Last week’s Boston Playmakers Panel at The TRACK at @newbalance led by @goodsportsinc left a big impact on our crew, especially longtime player and coach mentor Katherine, who attended with her sister Aileen (also a player & coach). The theme The Surge of Women’s Sports could not have been more fitting for the 150+ in attendance!

After the event, Katherine connected with Good Sports founder Melissa Harper, and a simple thank you turned into an inspiring conversation about leadership, coaching, wellness, and Katherine’s passion for linking oral health to overall health. Melissa also introduced her to Ryan and Wednesday, 📷'd here and already incredible new partners and supporters.

These moments matter. When young women are welcomed into spaces like this, the possibilities grow.

In fact, tomorrow our female players will gather to hear from Katherine and Aileen and keep building momentum through our Resilient Girls partnership with the @womenfun and the @chjs

Our Gr. 4 in-city players, who’ve been showing up all fall, just found out they’ll be part of a new travel team this spring! To celebrate, Director of Soccer Chris brought them together for a special end-of-season matchup vs. a Gr. 4 Methuen team.

And yes… they played in the rain. 🌧️ They battled to a 3–3 finish and even ended in a penalty kick shootout, another #memorablemoment.

The joy, the grit, the puddles, and Chris’s reminders about smart passing and not holding the ball too long created the perfect mix of fun and growth.

This time, #CoachMentor Issandel’s Rebels squad chose Launch Trampoline Park … because what’s better than jumping around? They even found time for some soccer (and yes, pizza was on the menu).
